These terms and conditions apply to the booking service provided by us.

 

Please note that in using this service you agree.

 

  • You must be registered with us to use the service,
  • You are responsible for your own login credentials for the service, we will not be liable for any unauthorized bookings made on your account.
  • You promise that all information provided by you to us are true, accurate and that you have the authority to use these details to pay for the service.
  • you are responsible for any booking made with your account and we will not be liable for any costs due to bookings made on your account.
  • You will only use the service to make a booking you wish to fulfil, if we deem you are misusing the software, we reserve the right to disable your account without prior notice.
  • You will not use this service for any unlawful purpose including (but not limited to) knowingly introducing viruses, trojans and logic bombs or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the site or its system including servers and databases.
  • We can amend these terms and conditions to reflect any changes to the service that we provide.
  • Takeme (plymouth) Limited t/a TAXIFIRST accept bookings as an agent, acting on behalf of our self-employed drivers and will not be completing these journeys directly.
  • Takeme (Plymouth) Limited t/a TAXIFIRST partner with Tower cabs and other Takeme Group partners and may share journey details on your behalf to help prevent lateness and offer a better service.
  • Pre-bookings to train/coach/ferry terminals, appointments of any kind within Plymouth must be pre-booked 1 hour in advance, or TAXIFIRST will not be liable for any loss of earnings or charges.
  • Airport bookings or journeys outside Plymouth must be booked with enough time to guarantee your arrival, and taking unforeseen issues into account, like (but not limited to) traffic issue, car breaking down, driver recovery, or any kind of lateness.
  • Any missed journeys from your end will class as a no show and may cause your phone number and email address to be blocked from making any more journeys with us.
  • You understand (even though we will do all we can to prevent lateness by restricting pre-bookings) during peak times delays can happen due to unforeseen circumstances, and you promise to book all your journeys in with enough time to counter this. TAXIFIRST will not be liable to any loss of earnings or charges that may incur if you do not follow this.
  • If travelling with a pet, you will be subject to a fee, please call to check if we have a vehicle available, as this service is not available to booking via the app/website and TAXIFIRST will not be liable for any lateness if booked on the app/website whilst travelling with a pet.
  • TAXIFIRST only offer the ability to book three/four-seater taxis via the app/website, if you request a larger vehicle by writing it in the notes, we will not guarantee it will be read as this is for the driver only, TAXIFIRST will not be liable to any loss of earnings or fees due to this.
  • All children travelling should be restrained in a manner appropriate to their age, weight and height, the passenger may provide a car seat, but should be fitted by the customer at their own risk.
  • Luggage and items are carried at your own risk, TAXIFIRST cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage whilst travelling in the vehicle.
  • TAXIFIRST do not allow children under fourteen to travel alone in the vehicle without a responsible adult or carer, for the safety of both the child and the driver.
  • TAXIFIRST vehicle may have CCTV installed for the safety of the customer and driver and can be used in a court of law.
  • Drivers have the right to ask for money upfront in they deem necessary.
  • Outside city limits are subject to a set fare or out of area charge, our online booking system can only give you an estimated cost, for more information on any journeys outside of plymouth please call 01752222222 for more information.
  • If in the unlikely event you soil the taxi, then a fee upwards of £50 may be added to your charge.
  • When booking with TAXIFIRST you promise to pay the final metered fare in full not matter what.
  • Pre-payments will be taken by Bank Transfer only, Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 15:00 with a 10% uplift, please take this into consideration when making your bookings.
